Penny Baldwin is a senior vice president and the chief marketing officer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In her role, Baldwin leads the company’s marketing efforts worldwide, spanning corporate communications, brand management, product marketing, digital and social marketing, content and creative, thought leadership, positioning and narratives, insights, and analytics.

Before joining Qualcomm, Baldwin was vice president and general manager of Intel Global Brand Management & Reputation, responsible for leading all facets of the Intel brand worldwide. In addition, she oversaw Intel partner marketing (including worldwide oversight of the Intel Inside program) and all marketing strategy and execution in support of the New Technology Group, which included VR, merged reality, drones, head and wrist worn wearables, AI, and Intel’s 360-degree Replay technology.

Baldwin is a seasoned marketing professional with 30+ years of in-depth expertise spanning agency leadership of Madison Avenue agency brands, global consumer marketing, and brand management for Yahoo!, CMO of global security company McAfee, and global brand management, partner marketing, and new technology group marketing for Intel. She is an inspirational leader of marketing and communications teams, has extensive international marketing experience, and is deeply conversant across the full spectrum of marketing disciplines requiring global integration and optimization.

For him, it’s all about a passion to create a strategy and then drive it home to “get things done.” And as Cisco’s senior director of Innovation Strategy and Programs, he has plenty of opportunities to put this passion to the test.

He sparks internal innovation by providing employees at all levels the chance to share their big ideas, many of which make their way into the company’s innovation engine. Alex also carries the torch for co-innovation across Cisco’s ecosystem.

He’s especially excited about Cisco’s Innovation Centers, which can be found in major cities around the world. Led by Alex, these hubs bring together customers, partners, startups, accelerators, governments, research communities, and universities in a lab setting. Their goal is to discover, develop, and implement game-changing, outcome-based solutions.

He also heads up the Cisco Innovation Grand Challenges. These polished events help creative thinkers bring their technology ideas to life. And then there’s the Cisco Technology Radar, the company’s engine for identifying emerging technology transitions. He was the “Emerging Stars” gold recipient of Brandon Hall Group’s 2016 Human Capital Management Excellence Awards Program, and his organization won golds for “Employee Engagement” and “Innovation Talent Management” programs.

Alex began his Cisco journey in 2004 with a singular focus: Innovation. He defined and operationalized several high-profile Cisco initiatives, including the company’s Country Transformation plan for Cisco in emerging markets. He also held senior roles in Development, Marketing, Finance, and Channels, providing him a 360 view of how a great company ticks.

Prior to Cisco, Alex was a successful consultant with extended assignments at Napster, Liquid Audio, IBM Global Services, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

Magnus Felke, Sr. Director Marketing leads the $800M global Pyxis Patient Care Solutions business in BD’s Medication Management Solutions business unit. He joined BD in 2016 from the tech sector where he worked at Qualcomm, Kodak and HP. Over his 20-year career, he has successfully launched many pioneering products and marketing strategies. His passion is creating value for patients and providers by applying innovative technology solutions to today’s biggest healthcare challenges.

Originally from Germany, Magnus Felke relocated to San Diego in 2000. He has held progressive roles in all aspects of marketing from business strategy to product management, marketing campaigns and commercialization. He holds an MBA from the University of San Diego and an undergraduate degree in business and information sciences from the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart, Germany.

When he is not working, Magnus Felke enjoys mountaineering, sailing, cycling and photography.

As an entrepreneur and motivational speaker he is considered an expert in management, coaching, call centers, sales and customer service, teaching his methods to large groups of people internationally.
