As Senior Vice President of Marketing for Fortiva (an Atlanticus company), Teresa Caro brings over 20 years of strategic marketing experience in the digital and traditional space, including email, social, and analytics. Teresa plays an instrumental role in defining how Fortiva and its B2B2C and B2C brands can improve sales and customer retention, strengthen loyalty, and increase advocacy through the use of digital marketing and technology. Prior to joining Fortiva, Teresa held two leadership roles at leading agencies: Senior Vice President of Social and Content Marketing for Engauge (acquired by Publicis and merged with Moxie), as well as the head of strategy for southeast region of Razorfish. She is also a past-president of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA). @teresacaro

Christopher Edwards

Christopher Edwards

Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Conversa Health

A proven business executive, Chris brings over 24 years of strategy, business development, operations, and marketing to both B to C and B to B organizations of varying sizes. From start-ups to emerging companies to enterprise organizations, Chris has led global marketing, business development and strategic partnerships for several healthcare technology organizations. Chris has deep experience in healthcare technology (Software, Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Mobile & Services).

Most recently, Chris was the Chief Marketing Officer at Validic where he led global marketing, Business Developement and strategic partnership efforts growing Validic to the healthcare industry’s “de facto standard” for accessing data from mobile health devices, wearables, in-home devices and patient healthcare apps. He led the go-to-market initiatives generating 84% of total annual sales revenue.

Prior to that, Chris led Global Marketing at Allscripts, helping to drive dramatic growth ($225M to $1.2B) across several business solutions for physicians, hospitals and post-acute organizations (customer base: 180,000 physicians, 1,500 hospitals and over 10,000 post-acute organizations around the world). Additionally, Chris has led global Marketing & Strategy in Oral Care technology and Vision Care technology for PE portfolio companies; the work led to successful “event” transactions.

Chris was recently awarded the Chief Marketing Officer Growth Award among over 800 global CMOs, for “demonstrating leadership in new strategies and programs resulting in significant company growth.”

This past year, Chris was a featured thought leader speaker at several major health technology events: Digital Health Summit in Sydney, Australia (keynote), SAP’s Global Innovation Event in Silicon Valley, The Mobile Patient Summit in the Research Triangle Park, NC; Frost & Sullivan’s Digital Transformation Summit; MedTech Summit in Cannes, France; Digital Health Thought Leadership Summit in London.

Chris received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business from Westmont College and excelled in the UNC-Chapel Hill Business School Accelerated Executive Program.  He enjoys basketball, golf and time with his wife and two children.

Matt Feyen is the Director of Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations for University of Minnesota Physicians, Fairview Health Services and the University of Minnesota Health brand. Matt has been in the healthcare industry for nearly 10 years with his current employer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic. Matt has been involved in internet services and been in marketing leadership roles for more than 20 years. Matt is passionate about ensuring there is a balance between traditional and digital engagement that ensures optimal customer engagement and satisfaction

He specializes in client data management, database analytics, advanced email marketing, data visualization, and business development/marketing support. Justin employs his BI expertise in providing internal and external customers with visual analytics to communicate stories and trends within the data.
Justin earned his B.S. in Psychology from Campbell University, and his MBA in Healthcare Systems Management from Keller University. He is a coffee fanatic and ‘closet-marketer’ with an exceptional talent for social media management. He lives in Woodstock, GA with wife, Sarah, and their 3 children.

Adam Kahn serves as Senior Director, Marketing Operations and Demand at Frost Sullivan. He is a passionate event & digital marketing professional who has worked in the events industry since 1994 in both higher education and for-profit event organizers, including: ZD Events/Key3Media, iMark Communications, IIR, Diversified Communications and Rising Media. Adam has successfully launched and managed events throughout the United States, Canada and India during the course of his 20+ year career.

Personally, Adam enjoys spending time with his family. He loves coaching his daughter’s basketball team and attending as many of his son’s high school football and basketball games as possible. He loves sports and is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Celtics fan. He was born and raised in Philadelphia and has been in Boston since attending graduate school at Northeastern University in 1995. If he’s not attending one of his kids sporting events, you can bet he’s trying to carve out time on the golf course.

As head of Social Media and Content Marketing for Vanguard’s Institutional business in the U.S., he leads a sizeable portion of Vanguard’s digital marketing evolution in the B2B space. Allen has written for some of the biggest names in FinServ, spoken at conferences, authored books, is passionate about great content and storytelling, as well as bringing out the best in creatives.

At Forsythe Technology, Matthew oversees Forsythe’s digital marketing efforts, including all content marketing and social media initiatives internally and externally, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and positive behavior with clients, partners, analysts and employees. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of the award-winning Forsythe FOCUS magazine. Prior to Forsythe Technology, he served as a publicist at the National Geographic Channel in Washington, D.C.

Matthew currently teaches digital marketing and social media classes for students in Duke’s Event Development Certification program. He has spoken about digital marketing, social media and content marketing at many industry and regional events, including the Internet Summit in Raleigh, Ragan Communications conferences in Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, and Orlando, the Frost and Sullivan Digital Marketing conference in Asheville, and The Research Triangle Park (RTP) 180° speaking series. He has also counseled the communications team at the Vatican in Rome, Italy on social media during their monthly team meeting. He is also a contributor to PRDaily.com, Ragan.com, Content Marketing Institute, Business2Community, and Spin Sucks.

He earned his MBA in marketing strategy and planning, and integrated marketing communications from DePaul University in Chicago. Matthew obtained his bachelor of arts in speech communications from Penn State University.
